The base is the transmitter and the charger in one. It connects to your TV with a single cable — Optical, AUX or RCA, whichever it has — and then it just lives there, always on, always ready.
It's never flat, because the headphones don't have their own charging cable to lose. Finish watching, set them on the dock, and the contact pins do the rest.

Ordinary Bluetooth was built for phones, and on a TV it runs far enough behind that mouths stop matching words. Nocs & Sound uses a dedicated 2.4GHz link to its own base station, so what you see and what you hear arrive together.

An 800mAh cell gives up to 50 hours of watching — around 25 films, or a few weeks of ordinary evenings. Empty to full takes about 2.5 hours on the dock, and since it goes back on the dock anyway, it rarely gets near empty.

Long-press the switch and it's a standard Bluetooth headset — phone, tablet, laptop. There's a mic in the cup, so calls work too. One pair, both jobs.
Built for a whole film, not a track.
Over-ear memory-foam pads in protein leather sit around the ear rather than on it, and the headband adjusts on both sides. Two 40mm drivers, 32Ω, closed-back, 20Hz–20kHz. The cups fold flat when you are not using them.

Three steps, and none of them is Bluetooth
Bluetooth compresses audio, sends it, then decompresses it. That round trip is why mouths stop matching words on a TV. The base skips it entirely and sends the signal over its own 2.4GHz channel.
The same headphones still pair over Bluetooth for a phone or tablet, where a few milliseconds do not matter. For the television, they use the base.

Most televisions leave the factory set to Dolby Digital. Headphones cannot decode it, so the result is silence rather than an error message — which is why a working unit gets sent back as a dead one. Change one setting, once:

The pins need a little help: tilt the cups slightly backwards as you set them down rather than dropping them in straight. A solid red light means contact is made; it goes out when they're full, around 2.5 hours later. If you'd rather not think about it, the USB-C cable charges them directly.
